Terms of Service Last updated: August 8, 2026 By using Taiwan Air ("the App") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. License • We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Purchases • The App is free and supported by advertising. It offers one non-consumable in-app purchase that removes ads. • Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews. • If you reinstall the App or move to a new device, use "Restore purchase" on the Help screen to restore the ad-free upgrade. • Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by region. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple. Air quality data • Readings are open data published by Taiwan's Ministry of Environment (環境部, formerly the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan), served through our API. • Readings can be delayed, incomplete, temporarily unavailable, or revised by the source. We do not guarantee that any figure shown is current or accurate. • The App is for general information only. It is not medical or health advice, and it must not be relied on for decisions where inaccurate or stale readings could cause harm. If you have health concerns, consult a qualified professional and check the official government sources. Notifications • Station alerts are delivered on a best-effort basis through Apple Push Notification service and OneSignal. Delivery can be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control, including your device settings, network conditions and quiet-hours rules. Do not rely on a notification arriving. Acceptable use • Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape our API at abusive rates, or otherwise misuse the App or its content. • Do not use the App in any way that breaks applicable law or interferes with other people's use of it. Third-party services • The App uses Google Maps, Google AdMob, Google Firebase, OneSignal, Bugsnag and Sentry. Your use of map features is also subject to Google's terms. See our Privacy Policy for what each service receives. Content and trademarks • Government air quality data remains subject to the terms of its publisher. The App's own design, icons and code belong to the developer. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners. Disclaimer and liability • The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, or from reliance on any data it displays. Availability • We may change, suspend or discontinue the App or any part of it, including the API it depends on, at any time.
